Overflow: Scroll - Back to Top  Gareth at 16:49 on Tuesday, June 01, 2004

I have a <div> which has an overflow setting of "auto". I use javascript to change the contents (innerHTML) of this <div> depending on what a user clicks on.

This all works fine, however if a user has scrolled down the <div> contents then clicks on another option to change the contents of the <div>, although the contents change the scroll bar stays where it was.

What I would really like to do is have the scroll bar return to the top of the <div> when it's content is changed.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Gareth
