ASP.NET Server side Clock  blip at 20:00 on Thursday, September 14, 2006

Does anybody know how to make a clock using ASP.NET? I want the time to update once per second in a text field on the client side. I want the time to come from the web server's clock, not the client machines clock and I want to be able to do this by only updating this one text field and not updating any other controls and not doing a full page refresh or post back. I know this can be doine, just don't know how. Thanks in advance

If you are using .Net 2.0, you can achieve this using client side call back feature.

Else you can write Ajax code to accomplish this task
