Changing Autonumber Fields

Is there a way to change an autonumber field in Access? Using SQL or any programming codes that could change an autonumber field in Access. Existing records in Access table was exported and edited in Excel but could not put it back anymore including the autonumber field.

Hope someone can help. Badly need solution. Thanks,
