hi there,
ive got a program whereby it reads a string by character and then outputs each word of the string along with the line number it occurs in. However the problem i have is that the line counter is only incremented if the enter key is pressed as the program recoginises the ASCII 13 as enter and increments the counter, however when the text in the rich text box automatically wraps to a new line then my counter wont increase as there is no ASCII character to represent this in the string (tried ASCII 10). Any Suggestions as how to get the program to recognise a new line??
