JavaScript Form Question  mcqu19 at 16:58 on Wednesday, March 22, 2006

Hello,

I am trying to use java in a form with multiple choice questions.

Example:

Question?
(radio button) Option 1
(radio button) Option 2
(radio button) Option 3
(radio button) Option 4

I want it so when the student selects the wrong answer it will say “Incorrect, option # is the correct answer” or “Correct! Option # is the correct answer”

The only way I knew how to do this was by using the img onclick (replacing the radio button with an img), and have the correct or incorrect dialog come up in a text field. Internet explorer is the only browser that supports this I think. (I know mozilla and netscape don’t, i just tried them.)

So if anyone has a good suggestion or knows of an existing code snippet, please point me in the correct direction.
