  Onclick does not work using input type = "button"  peths0 at 04:47 on Thursday, January 22, 2009

Hi,

Does anyone know why my file does not open when the button is clicked? It opens fine when I use a <a href>.

My code is as follows:

<form onMouseover="change('#EEE8AA')" onMouseout="change('#F0F0F0')">
<input type="button" value="Earned Value Report" onclick="file://transfp01\Groups\PROJECTS\Spreadsheets\Project%20Controls\Launch Excel EV Calculator.lnk" style="WIDTH: 200px; background-color: #F0F0F0; color: #660000">
</form>
