  partial string sorting of arrays  vitaly at 14:00 on Saturday, December 01, 2007

Could you help me with sorting arrays when I want to sort based on a sertain part of a string.

For example I have
@arr = (xcvcn|nvu|gdy, bvu|meufdy|kjum, ...)

I want to perform sorting based on string part located between |and| or ^and| or |and$

Thanks,
Vitaly
