Perl libraries and modules  BinaryWorld at 17:54 on Thursday, June 22, 2006

Hello all.

I should say first the I am a noob, so please bear with me.

I run both Linux and Windows, but my current question regards Windows.

I have downloaded a .zip file that is a Perl library. This library is supposed to contain modules. I have read about how to install modules, but I'm a bit confused on the library.

Where should I unzip the file? In my Perl directory or another subdirectory? Next, when I am installing modules using CPAN, what directory should I be in?

If it helps, I am trying to use the script for converting OBO files to OWL files. This script is supposed to be in the go-perl library (which is the .zip file I have downloaded).

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance...
