javascript onClick() event problem in asp.net  jtencate at 21:45 on Tuesday, June 22, 2004

I have a project in asp.net where I have a javascript function that brings up a popup calendar control. I have added an onClick() attribute handler to the asp.net button that calls the function.

The problem I am having is that every time I hit enter in a textbox on the form it is firing the function as well. Not being highly skilled in javascript, I do not know why this is happening.

Could it be that onSubmit event of the form is causing it to fire?

If anyone has thoughts on what might be causing this I would appreciate them.
