I've been asked to set up a web server/data-base type deal.
Not looking for code . Just where do I begin. I have Dreamweaver, Flash...ect, Visual Studio 2005. Problem is I'm getting confused with what's what. SQL, PHP. Coldfusion. Having a hard time seperating what are tools and what are requirements.
Yeah there's Vb script, java, ASP...Looking at InterAkt..blahblah...
Can someone basically give me a clue of the root requirements.
I mean it seems like dreamweaver and all of these 3rd party vendors are just coding for me. I'd rather learn source first (skip html please).Is there even a root solution? Sure I can knock off a web site in 30 min with dream weaver. Fix it? Nope. I'm thinking asp?
