Two of the most popular languages on the net, I thought...

Uhhhh, because he likes MS web technologies like ASP and VBScript!?!! Just guessing.
Perl and PHP -are- very popular, however, not much call for it in the business world. At least not that I've seen so far. I can write PHP, Perl, VB, VBScript, Java, JavaScript, whatever. The government uses all MS products so I do mostly ASP/VBScript myself.

hi Mark Deibert & Chris...
PHP/ASP consider my choices cause can access MySQL database.
however, on each type of languages such PHP,Perl,ASP,XML,.NET
delphi, c++ and etc, got their own advantages and advantages,
so, it`s up to you to choose the best solutions for your client.
the more important, the support on your coding itself.
client must have the right to choose.

I think Chris makes a good point. David, why not add a PHP and a PERL forum? I assume it`s just adding a couple entries into a forum table, eh? I don`t use PHP or PERL, but these are very popular technologies. Why not provide a forum for these people to help each other? It would be one thing if Microsoft was a big sponsor of codetoad.com or if this really was an ASP/VBScript dedicated website, but it really covers more ground than that. We have a Java forum. Let`s do PHP and PERL as well. Let the people rule!!! By the way...thanks for the forum, David! Keep up the great work.

It is now 8/31/2003 and we now have PHP and Perl forums! Thanks, CodeToad! The new forum system is much improved.
