Is it possible to determine is an object/element is visible on screen? geTTysburg at 21:57 on Thursday, October 13, 2005

Hello,

This is my first post to this forum. I'm actually writing code in C++ and using MSHTML interfaces after attaching to a document loaded webbrowser control. Anyway, is it possible test the visibility of an element? I'm simulating a list control using HTML content; changing the background color of an element as it gains(or loses) focus. Currently I'm forcing a scrollIntoView() as elements gain focus, but it's confusing for users to see an element that's obviously visible jump to the bottom(or top) of the browser window.

Basically I only want perform scrollIntoView() if an element isn't visible.

Thanks for any Assistance.
