Im trying to create something similar to a dhtml slideshow.
I want to have numbered buttons which i can press that
refer to different slides, so im not simply navigating with a
back and forward button.
Ive been looking for a script but couldnt find it. Could
someone tell me how to do this or point me to an online
tutorial. Thanks.

The problem with posts like this is that they are way too general.
Certainly I could provide you a complete system, but I charge for that kind of work.
As it stands, I don't know what your skill level is, what programming languages you know or are trying to learn, etc.
Do you have a site in process, where we can see what you've got so far? Do you know CSS, JavaScript, HTML? How much?
