How to Remove the URL's from printouts when printing a document with MS IE ?

It's not something the web developer has control over (normally). It's a user setting. Click File / Page Setup / Headers & Footers. Each individual user sets these in their own browser, and the defaults come set to pring the URL at top and page numbers at bottom.

There are ActiveX solutions (and I assume some java applets) to work around this, but both mean the user would be prompted to allow code to be installed, and ActiveX only works in IE. So these are compromises.

Check out http://www.meadroid.com/scriptx/index.asp. I've used this component successfully, and they have a free version, too.
