  link won`t open in frame!  LisaDoll at 17:44 on Friday, March 26, 2004

My links open in a new window instead of my target frame, and I do not know why :s
My website has a left frame, top frame, right frame and center frame. All my links are in the right frame and I want them to open in the center frame, which, for some reason, doesn't work no matter what target I choose.

Ok, here's the website in question:
http://www.lisadolls.com/notes.html

And here's my code:
<a href="aboutmenotes.html" target="_notescenter2.html">
<img src="http://lisadolls.com/aboutmel.gif"
border=0></a>

I just don't get it. Can anyone help?
**Lisa**

Hey, Lisa, I guess you figured it out, because your site seems to work fine now. I assume the problem was that your link targets were not matching your exact frame names. (It is not normal to name a frame with an extension like your code showed--so I assume your frames were not really named with .html extensions.)

Thanks for posting in the codetoad forum!

hey! Yes, I figured it out a couple of days ago :) whewww, that was bugging me. Yep, the targets didn't have a proper name yet :p
Thanks anyway,
**Lisa**
